Hello Espen. Am arriving in Iran on the 28th and was planning on riding in Dizin on the 1st and 2nd of March. would probably need some recommendation on the following:
Transportation from/to Dizin
Hotel for 1 night on March 1st
Rental of Snowboard (got the rest of the gears incl boots)
Thanks!

Michael: you will find all that information on this website. See under accommodation and prices.
Thought you might be interested in a new video about the Dizin Hotel made by members of Tripfilms who recently visited there.

Espen, I am hoping to travel to Shemshak in Feb2010 and just wondering do you know how to book accomodation
I am currently trying to get in touch with the hotels in Dizin/Shemshak via a travel agent. Will post details here on this site when I find out to arrange bookings.
BTW; I might be in Dizin in February.
hi espen, any idea if scandinavian girls could make a trip to dizin? snowboarding with hijab??? possible?? males needed around??
Hey Ella, girls are allowed to snowboard. You don’t have to wear a proper hijab but you do have to wear some kind of hat. So you can wear your usual snowboarding suit (no short sleeves) and a beanie or somthing. Hope that helps you!
Espen, I will go to Shemshak end of Feb, beggining of March, for 10 days for snowboard. Can you give me an idea of the prices if you know?? Lift charges, accomodation on Dizin hotel. An average to have an idea how much it will cost my trip. There are no hostels around right?? Looking partner if someone is interested
Chino: check the link in the text on this page. There are no hostels, but check with Firouzeh Hotel in Tehran, there might be someone there who can join in.

Hey Espen
I am from Denmark myself and have been to Iran a few times, I have family in Tehran that I visit as often as I can. We have a house in Dizin, and the parties we host are amazing. I have never partied as hard as I do in Iran. I just want to let you know that you do a good job setting up trips to places people didn’t know had snow.
Peace
We are snowboarders and skiers from Ukraine, will be in Dizin in Feb.3-9. 8 riders. Any idea, if Dizin Hotel has free rooms or chalets in these days? Is it neccessary to book’em in advance?
Vadym: It is generally a good idea to book in advance. Usually in the week you can get a room but for the weekend (thu/fri) it can often be full. You can find the contact details here: http://dizinsnowboard.com/hotels-and-cabins-where-to-stay-in-dizin-6
